Fairtrade

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Our vision supports the character and moral development of all. We try to explore big questions like fair trade with farmers globally - support the annual Fairtrade fortnight initiative each year. As a school, we support Fairtrade to challenge injustice by selling Fairtrade items. Our children take a considerable lead, placing orders to maintain their supplies, and being responsible for their money and forwarding profits to Fairtrade. Each Friday, they set up a stall of their wares to sell to parents and their children at the end of the school day. It has become very popular and the children are very proud of their contribution to tackling trade injustice.
